Nego, your agent
Tell Nego what you want to change: it edits your PDF CV while keeping your layout, rewrites it as a new template, sorts it into sections, translates it or reviews the photo. You see the result right in the chat.
One click opens Nego with the request already written; you complete it with your own case and send.
Attach your CV and say what you want to change, the way you would tell a person: “shorten it to one page”, “put the focus on project management”, “add my latest job, I'll tell you about it”. Depending on your file and your request, Nego picks the right site feature. On a PDF, it favours Same CV, same layout: the engine reads your PDF as text blocks, the model suggests one edit per block, and the code checks that each one fits in place before applying it. Your photo, colours and fonts stay untouched.
For a real change of substance, it goes through the improved CV: a new template, rewritten for the ATS robots, for value or for a career change, with the questions it asks you before writing. To reorganise, it uses My structure: sections moved around, an experience added from what you tell it, a proofread, presentation ideas. It can also translate your CV, fix the spacing and give its opinion on the photo (framing, background, lighting, never your looks).
At every step you see the result in the chat: the list of edits with their status, the CV preview, the buttons to download as PDF or Word and to keep the CV in your space. The edits are applied in your browser, to your original file, which is never stored without your consent.
The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
For a PDF CV, yes: Nego uses “Same CV, same layout”, which reads your PDF block by block and rewrites the text in place, with photo, colours and fonts untouched. Anything that does not fit is flagged (“too long”, “no room”) and you can ask for a CV regenerated in the same look.
A PDF exported from Canva is edited in place like any PDF. A Word file or a photo goes through “My structure”: Nego sorts the CV into sections then redraws it, or through the rewritten new template; either way you get a PDF and a Word file back.
No. The code checks every edit: a figure or a contact detail missing from your CV and from your request is refused or replaced by “[X]”, for you to fill in. If you want a figure on your CV, write it in your request.
For the rewritten or edited CV, a free account is asked for at download time: Nego offers it, you sign in, and the conversation picks up with your CV. The preview itself is visible without an account.
Free, no sign-up to get started; nothing is kept without your consent.
