You talk to it like a person. Nego knows the whole site: it runs your CV analysis, edits it, has the code work out your pay, compares it with real job offers, searches the web citing its sources, and always suggests the page that goes further. Never a made-up figure.
Every feature of the site has its page. With Nego, you ask for it in your own words: it calls the right feature, shows you the result in the chat and gives you the link to carry on.
“Analyse my CV”
Nego reads your CV (PDF, Word, photo or pasted text) and runs the site's analysis: the market value worked out from INSEE salary data, the score with the ATS robots, word-for-word fixes, neighbouring jobs. It explains them and answers your questions about them.
“Shorten my CV to one page”, “add my latest job”
It edits your PDF in place while keeping your layout, rewrites a new template, sorts your CV into sections, fixes the spacing, replaces the photo or translates it all. You see the preview in the chat, you tweak, you download.
“Convert my gross to net”, “what if I got a pay rise?”
Gross, net, net after tax, employer cost, overtime, end-of-contract payments: Nego has the site's code do the maths, with the official rules, and shows you the lines of the calculation. The model never does the sums itself.
“Am I paid fairly?”
It compares your pay with the job offers actually published for your job and your area (France Travail): median, quartiles, where you stand. Not enough offers in your city? It says so and widens to the department or the region. It also knows the INSEE average salary for your occupation.
“Search the web for what this job pays”
Nego searches the web, cites every source and only keeps an amount if it appears word for word in the quoted text; the range is calculated by the code. Same rule for an employment-law question: the rule, its official source, and never individual advice.
“Prepare my salary expectations”, “play the recruiter”
Three calculated targets (cautious, balanced, ambitious), one answer to say out loud and one for an e-mail, then a mock interview where it asks the questions and comments on your answers using your own facts. For a pay rise, it works out what your request means in net pay.
“Write my letter for this job ad”, “chase this recruiter”
A cover letter built from your CV and the pasted job ad, with nothing made up; a polite follow-up; two offers compared in net pay by the code; a job-search plan for the week or the month.
“Sum this guide up”, “apply this to my situation”
On a page of the site, Nego knows where you are: it explains a tool's result line by line, sums a guide up in three points or applies it to your case. It always suggests the page of the site that goes further.
“Keep this CV in my space”, “show me my analyses”
With a free account, Nego saves a CV or an analysis to your space, finds your saved CVs, your AI credits and your personal context. Without an account, it offers to create one in a click and the conversation picks up afterwards.
“I'll share my salary, anonymously”, “write to the site”
Two actions that commit you, so always after your explicit confirmation: contributing your salary to the site's data (anonymously) and sending a message to the site through the contact form.
One page per use, with example requests, what Nego actually does and its limits.
One click opens Nego with the request already written; you complete it with your own case and send.
Nego is the conversational agent of Negotiate Your Salary: a language model connected to the site's features. You talk to it like a person; it reads your CV, edits it, works out your pay, tax and unemployment benefit, guides you through French paperwork, drafts your letters, searches the web and answers anything about work, pointing you to the page of the site that goes further.
Yes, with no sign-up to get started and a weekly number of questions shown above (higher with a free account; it resets every Monday). Heavy actions (analysis, rewriting, web search) count against the same daily limits as on the site's pages. Downloading a CV or keeping it takes a free account.
No. It is the site's rule: no figure shown ever comes from a language model. Every amount comes from a calculation by the code, from your CV, from your messages or from a source quoted word for word; every answer is checked on the way out and a figure with no origin is replaced by “[X]”.
No. On employment law, Nego quotes the rule and its official source and explains what it means in general; for your own situation, it points you to an adviser (union, labour inspectorate, lawyer). It does not replace a consultation.
They are sent to the model to answer, then are not kept. The conversation stays on your device and you can clear it. The site only records that an action took place, never its content. Only what you keep in your account is stored, encrypted.
Nego answers in the language of your message, French or English, and follows the page's language if you have not written anything yet. It also translates your CV either way.
It has the site's tools to hand: the salaries actually offered in France Travail job ads, INSEE salaries, payroll calculations with the official rules, editing your PDF in place. And it follows the site's rules: no made-up figures, cited sources, nothing kept without your consent.
Yes, like any language model: it can misread a request or sum a source up clumsily. That is why the figures are calculated by the code, the sources are cited so you can check them, and nothing irreversible is done without your confirmation. Read through before sending a CV or a letter.
Your work and paperwork assistant: it reads your CV, works out your pay, tax and unemployment benefit, guides you through French procedures, drafts your letters and answers anything about work.
