Nego, your agent
Gross, net, net after tax, employer cost, pay rise: Nego has the code do the maths, compares your pay with real job offers in your field and searches the web for what others earn, sources included.
One click opens Nego with the request already written; you complete it with your own case and send.
Ask your question the way it comes to you: “how much is that in net pay?”, “I'm becoming a cadre, what changes?”, “how much do I cost my employer?”, “if I get this raise, how much more do I take home each month?”. Nego recognises a calculation and hands it to the site's code, the one behind the calculators: gross to net and net to gross, net after tax, hourly, monthly or yearly pay, employer cost, pay rise, overtime. It returns the lines of the calculation in a card and explains them one by one, then gives you the link to the pre-filled tool if you want to play with the settings.
“Am I paid fairly?” calls another feature: the salaries actually offered in France Travail job ads for your job and your area, with the median, the quartiles and the number of offers, then where you stand among them, as on the Am I paid fairly? page. It also knows the INSEE average salary for your occupation, by age and company size. Not enough data in your city? It says so clearly and widens by one level; it never papers over the gap.
Finally, “search the web for what a management controller earns in Nantes” starts the AI salary search: Nego scans the web, cites its sources and only keeps an amount if it is written in the quoted text; the range is calculated by the code. And if you want to give back, it can add your salary, anonymously, to the site's contributions, after your confirmation.
The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
The site's code, with the official contribution rules (cadre status or not, period, months paid), the same engine as the calculators. Nego hands it your amounts, gets the lines of the calculation back and explains them; it never does the arithmetic itself.
From job offers published by France Travail and aggregated by the site: median, first and third quartiles, number of offers, by job and by place. Not enough offers in your city? Nego says so and widens to the department, the region or France. The average salary for your occupation comes from INSEE.
You can paste it or describe it: Nego explains every line (gross, contributions, taxable net, tax withheld at source, net pay) and cross-checks the orders of magnitude with the code's calculation. It does not check that your payslip complies with your collective agreement: for a specific doubt, see your payroll department or an adviser.
Nego cites every source and only keeps an amount if it appears word for word in the page's quoted text; the range is calculated by the code from those amounts. Judging the source (date, country, exact job) is up to you: that is why it is shown.
