Edit
Upload your .docx: the site reads it, picks up your photo, sorts your CV into sections and redraws it, or rewrites it in a new template you download as Word and PDF.
After the analysis, “My structure” opens to sort and redraw your CV; “New template” rewrites it as Word and PDF.
Upload your .docx like any CV: the site reads the text in the body of the document (up to 30,000 characters) for the analysis, and picks up the photo it contains. You get your value, your ATS score and your corrections, then you choose what to do with your CV.
Two paths. “My structure”: the AI sorts your CV into sections, you reorganise it, add a job by telling it, choose colour, font, arrangement and photo, and the redrawn CV downloads as a PDF (see update your CV). “New template”: the AI rewrites your CV for a goal (ATS robots, value, career change, translation), the code replaces any unsourced figure with “[X]”, and you download the result as Word (.docx, classic or modern template) or PDF.
In-place editing, “Same layout”, only reads PDFs: to keep your Word layout exactly as it is, first save your CV as a PDF from Word and upload that PDF (see edit a PDF CV). Which format should you then send to the recruiter? The guide Word or PDF CV answers that.
The .docx you get from “New template” uses Word's heading styles and real bullet points: you can touch it up normally in Word and screening software reads it well (see CVs and ATS robots).
The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
Your Word file is read and then forgotten: nothing is kept on the server, except the CV you choose to keep in your account, encrypted. Full details in the privacy policy.
Yes, with “New template”: the rewritten CV downloads as a .docx with native Word styles (classic or modern template), and as a PDF. “My structure” produces a PDF.
Not exactly: “My structure” redraws the CV with the colour, font and arrangement you choose. To keep your layout exactly as it is, export your CV as a PDF and use “Same layout”, which rewrites the text in place.
They are probably in your Word document's header, which the site does not read (many ATS robots read it poorly too). Move them into the body of the CV, or add them in the preview: the AI never adds a contact detail it has not read.
Yes: download it in Word format (.docx) or as a PDF from your word processor, then upload that file. A .docx is read the same way whichever program saved it.
