Edit
Pick a photo: the site crops it to fit the old one and swaps it into your PDF, in the same place, with the same cut-out. Or into a redrawn CV, round or square.
After the analysis, your CV opens on “Your photo” in “Same layout”: choose another one.
Two ways to change your photo. In “Same layout” (PDF CV), the site finds the photo on the first page. You pick another one: it is cropped in your browser to the proportions of the old one (a portrait photo keeps the top, so your face), scaled down to 900 px and compressed as a JPEG, then placed in the PDF in exactly the same spot, with the same cut-out, round, square or rounded. Nothing else moves.
In “My structure” (any format, Word included), the CV is redrawn and your photo takes the shape you choose, round or square, or is left out. A CV with no photo can be given one. A photo found in a Word file is picked up automatically.
Either way, as soon as you accept the new photo, the AI gives its feedback on the photo: framing, background, lighting, fit with your background, never judging your looks. And if you are unsure whether to have a photo at all, the guide photo on a CV covers what is usual in France and elsewhere.

If a message appears: “Photo too large” means more than 25 MB (pick another or send yourself a smaller copy); “This image can't be read here” means a format your browser cannot open: choose a JPEG or PNG photo.
The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
The photo is cropped in your browser; it is only sent to the server for the AI's feedback, and is not kept there. Full details in the privacy policy.
The site looks on the first page for an image with portrait proportions that takes up a reasonable share of the page. A photo merged into a background, a scan or a tiny image are not detected: use “My structure”, which redraws the CV with your new photo.
No. The code only trims what goes beyond the proportions of the space and reduces the file size; the colours, the lighting and your face stay as they are. A photo with a transparent background gets a white one.
Yes, in “My structure”: “Add a photo”, then round or square. The CV is redrawn with it. In place, in your PDF, you can only replace a photo that is already there.
Yes, in “My structure”: “No photo”, and the CV is redrawn without it; “Put the photo back” brings it back. To know whether a photo helps or hurts you, the “Photo on a CV” guide covers it.
