A gap in your career, a job you're aiming for, a figure your CV leaves out, a constraint: write it once in “Your context”, and the analysis, rewrite and edits of your CV take it into account.
The “Your context” field is below the CV upload, after “What's it for?”.
“Your context” is an optional field, folded away while it is empty. You find it under the CV upload, after “What's it for?”, and in “Improved CV”: “New template”, “Same layout” and “My structure”. It is the same text everywhere: you write it once. You put in what your CV does not say (your situation, what you're aiming for, your constraints, a forgotten fact or figure), in 1,500 characters at most.
It goes with every request to the AI about your CV: the analysis, the questions and the rewrite in “New template”, the editing of your PDF in “Same layout” and the sorting in “My structure”, as well as your messages to Nego. The AI uses it to understand your profile and what matters to you, and to choose its words. These are your own statements: data, never instructions that change its rules or the format of the result.
A figure you write in it counts as a figure from your CV: it can be used in your improved CV. Any other figure missing from your CV, your context and your answers becomes “[X]”, for you to fill in. The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
Your context stays on your device; with an account, it is also kept in your account, encrypted, until you clear it or delete your account. It is only sent to the AI with your requests, and its text is never written to the site's logs. Full details in the privacy policy.
What your CV does not say and that matters for what comes next: the job or city you're aiming for, a forgotten responsibility or result, a gap in your career, a constraint. A few sentences are enough; no need to copy your CV.
It helps the AI assess your profile, for example a team you managed that your CV does not mention. But no amount comes from the model: the code calculates your value from INSEE salaries and turns the AI's judgements into a capped adjustment. The methodology
Empty the field: it is erased from this device and, if you are signed in, from your account. “Delete my data from this device”, at the bottom of the results, also erases it from the device, and deleting your account erases the one in your account.
