Fix
A full proofread that fixes spelling, grammar, punctuation and the case of headings, without removing or inventing anything. Plus word-for-word fixes from the analysis onwards.
After the analysis, “My structure” opens: sort your CV, then click “Have the AI proofread it”.
From the analysis onwards, the AI proposes up to 10 word-for-word corrections, sorted into four families: ATS robots, value, clarity, spelling. For each one, the original sentence quoted, the corrected version and the reason. The code checks that the quoted sentence really exists in your CV (otherwise the fix is discarded) and replaces any figure your CV does not contain with “[X]”. That is the word-for-word fixes page.
For a full proofread, open “My structure”. The AI first sorts your CV into sections, copying your text exactly as it is, mistakes included: it corrects nothing unless asked. The “Have the AI proofread it” button then gives it a fixed instruction: fix spelling, grammar and typing mistakes, make dates, punctuation and the case of headings consistent, without inventing anything, removing anything or changing the meaning. The proofread CV is redrawn in your browser, with a sentence saying what changed; anything that could not be done is listed under “Not done (and why)”, and “Undo” brings back the previous version.
The AI fixes the language; it knows neither your background nor your employers. Before sending, check the exact name of every company and qualification, the dates (a well-written date can still be wrong), your contact details and links, and the file name. The proofreading your CV guide gives the full list and methods to catch what the eye skips; to replace weak phrasing, see the list of action verbs.
The model reads and writes; the code calculates and checks. No figure shown ever comes from a language model.
Your CV is read for the proofread and then forgotten: nothing is kept on the server, except what you choose to keep in your account, encrypted. Full details in the privacy policy.
In “My structure”, the CV is redrawn in the look measured from your PDF (colours, column, font): close, not identical. To fix mistakes in your PDF exactly as it is, write “fix the mistakes” in “Same layout”: each sentence is rewritten in place.
Yes: proofreading follows the language of the CV, in French as in English. To go from one language to the other, that is translation, not proofreading.
No, it keeps your sentences and only fixes the form. To reword them, ask in your own words under “Say what you want to change”, or have your CV rewritten for a specific job with the AI-improved CV.
Free, no sign-up to get started; your CV is not kept without your consent.
