A credit is one AI action that produces a result for you: a CV analysis, an improved CV, an edit or a web salary search. Questions to Nego are counted separately, and a pack makes them unlimited for its duration.
The site separates two things, and it matters for knowing what you pay for.
AI actions cost 1 or 2 credits. An action is when Claude works for you: analysing your CV, improving it, tailoring it to a job ad or a career change, translating it, editing it, organising it, reviewing your photo. The heaviest ones (analysis, improved, tailored, career-change or translated CV) cost 2 credits, the others 1: the price is shown next to each action. The web salary search is free. Whether you start it on the site or ask Nego for it, the price is the same. If it fails (outage, timeout), the credit comes back on its own.
Questions to Nego are counted separately. Asking a question and reading the answer costs no credit: you get 3 free questions every week, and any pack makes them unlimited for a month (fair use: 150 a week). But if, in the conversation, Nego analyses or rewrites your CV, that action uses a credit, just like on the site: Nego tells you first.
With a free account, you get 4 free credits. After that, packs are paid once, with no subscription (why no subscription).
Everything that puts Claude to work for you. An action that fails costs nothing: its credits come back on their own.
